TELLER SETTINGS

The teller settings provides you with efficient tools to automatically manage your tellers. We identified that the most productive organizations are systemized and designed for efficiency, this is the major factor why this feature was designed.

The Teller Settings enables you to

  1. Auto fund all staff with a certain amount daily
  2. Start and Stop all your Staff Transactions
  3. Auto withdraw from your staff wallets for end of day reconciliation

 Navigate to the Tellers Profile i.e. Dashboard > Tellers > Teller Settings >

Please note that you have to activate each feature before use.

Funding

This enables you to automatically fund all your tellers with a certain amount, at a particular time every day.

  1. Enter Amount to fund all your tellers daily
  2. Set what time you want to fund all your tellers (Every morning is advisable)
  3. If there are some tellers you don’t want to always fund. use the “Select Tellers To Exempt” and select the tellers you don’t want to fund.
  4. Use the Exempted Tellers to view the tellers you do not want to automatically fund.

Stop

This enables you to automatically stop all your teller transactions. With this feature active your tellers cannot perform any further transactions once the time you set is reached.

  1. Select the time you want all teller transactions to stop (This could be your stipulated closing time to commence end-of-day reconciliation)
  2. Select days the stop teller command is applied
  3. If there are some tellers you don’t want to always stop their ability to perform transactions, use the “Select Tellers To Exempt” menu to select these tellers and they would still be able to process transactions after the stop time.
  4. Use the Exempted Tellers to view the tellers you do not want to automatically stop.

Start
This enables you to automatically start all your teller transactions. With this feature active your tellers can begin to perform transactions once the time you set is reached.

  1. Select the time you want all teller transactions to start transactions (This could be your opening time to commence operations)
  2. Select days the start teller command is applied
  3. If there are some tellers you don’t want to always start their ability to perform transactions, use the “Select Tellers To Exempt” menu to select these tellers and they would not be able to start process transactions the set time.
  4. Use the Exempted Tellers to view the tellers you do not want to automatically start.

Capped Amount

With this feature you can reduce your exposure to your tellers i.e. you reduce the risk of the funds your staff handles in their wallets.  All you need to do is to set the maximum amount of funds you want your tellers to always have in their wallets. Any fund into the wallet above the amount you set automatically moves into your main agent wallet.

  1. Enter a maximum Amount you want all your tellers to have in their wallet. If any funds above this amount is sent into your tellers wallet it automatically moves to your main agent wallet.
  2. If there are some tellers you want to have unlimited funds in their wallet, use the “Select Tellers To Exempt” and select the tellers you don’t want to set a capped amount for
  3. Use the Exempted Tellers to view the tellers you want to have unlimited funds in their wallet.

Auto Withdrawal

This enables you to automatically withdraw all the funds in all your teller wallets at a particular time every day.

  1. Select the time you want to withdraw from all your tellers (This could be your closing time)
  2. If there are some tellers you don’t want to automatically withdraw their funds, use the “Select Tellers To Exempt” and select the tellers you don’t want to auto-withdraw from.
  3. Use the Exempted Tellers to view the tellers you do not want to automatically withdraw from.

Once you’ve set up the various settings you can Save All. You’ll receive email notifications for each related activity.
